How It Works

BirdEye integrates with a wide range of tools across all your applications, including communication and collaboration tools like Teams and Outlook, project management tools such as JIRA, document management tools like Confluence and SharePoint, version management tools like Github, and even ticketing tools like Service Now. With this feature, you can search within BirdEye and get the results you need.

In the BirdEye world, we call each team a Nest, and they can access Nest Views to invite team members, manage team access, add application integrations including project databases, and add individual team member skillsets. To sign up for BirdEye, provide your company name, size, your name, role, email address as your user ID, and a password. Once you sign up for BirdEye, you will have access to Nest Views to set up your team, as well as the front-facing BirdEye interface to use for your day-to-day activities.

After signing up for BirdEye, you can set up Nest views for each team, assign roles, and invite team members under the 'Manage Team' tab. There are three roles available for each team: Manager, who has access to everything; Nest Owner, who has permission to edit certain integration URLs and databases; and Developers, who are assigned the remaining permissions. Each user can log into their Nest View and access many features, such as the PTO calendar, support calendar, project tools and technologies, team skill set, and business or product rules. All these features can be accessed via Birdeye

To use BirdEye's 'Search Anything' feature, you need to set up integrations for applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence. You can also add your project databases from all environments (Dev, QA, UAT, and Production) to access the table structure and data in BirdEye.

BirdEye Bot is the place to search for anything you need across all your applications, access your project databases, team information that you've maintained in Nest Views, search your company's intranet, and even allows managers to enter and recall day-to-day employee activities to keep track of their performance when needed.
